Medium Voltage Cold Applied Silicone Rubber bushing boot are used on screened or rubber insulated cables of 7.2 to 17.5 kV. Cold applied bushing boot is designed for use on either single or three core cables from 35 up to 400mm2, up to a maximum system voltage of 17.5 kV. The Bushing Boot can accommodate bushings with diameters between 30-70 mm.
Compaq System now offer our own universal medium voltage cold applied bushing protection boot for switchgear and transformer. Manufactured from high grade silicone with excellent non tracking and erosion resistance, the boot is very flexible and just one size covers right angle or straight connections for cable size 35-400mm2.
Compaq rain sheds are used to increase the surface creepage distance of the cores of cable termination without increasing the tail length. They are also used to avoid continuity during rainy season to avoid short circuiting of the electrical network.
The rain sheds are made from high quality cross linked polyolefin material that offers exceptional non tracking behavior, insulation and long term service reliability for indoor and outdoor applications. The creepage extension sheds are internally coated with water resistant mastic.

Compaq Heat Shrink Right Angle/Straight boots are providing insulation to the bushings in the cable termination box, where the clearance between phase to phase and phase to earth is less than the normal air clearance. These boots provide protection against flashover in the event of high humidity, rodent menace and surge impulse. The boots are made from high quality cross linked non tracking polyolefin material. They are internally coated with water resistant red mastic.

EPDM Cold shrink tubes are Tubular rubber sleeves which are factory expanded and assembled onto removable core. The core is removed after the tube has been positioned for installation over an in connection, the cold shrink tubing shrink and form a water proof seal. These sizes will cover a range of 1000 volt cables, copper and aluminum conductors. It is in Black color.

Compaq heat shrink wraparound sleeves are manufactured from thermally stabilized cross-linked polyolefin, with a hot melt adhesive liner on the inner side of the sleeves. Upon heating, the sleeve shrinks and the adhesive melts, creating a water tight bond between the sleeve and cable sheath or cable Joint assembly components. CRS wraparound sleeve meat & even exceed the various national & international quality standards applicable. A corrosion proof stainless steel channel is used to close the sleeve during installation.
Compaq heat shrinkable wraparound sleeves are designed to repair damaged cable sheath. It is also suitable for use for rejecting of cable Joints and as additional corrosion protection on undamaged cables.
